One of the most important points responsible for work of a lock is placed on the inner side of a dead-bolt (bar) in the place of a stand fixing. This stand fixes the levers, when the stand is broken the lever mechanism falls to pieces and can't hold the dead-bolt in a closed position. In all BORDER locks the stand is made of hardened steel, together with other means of protection this provides with stronger burglary-resistance. Even during long drilling the stand is not broken completely, but it deforms and block the lever mechanism. The lock remains in a closed position. Besides, the stand is Ï-shaped. Such form together with false grooves of the levers is reliable protection against picklocks. |
