The only thing dangerous for electromotive locks is electrical shock directed to the controller or wires. Such "electroshock" leads to fualts in the work of the closing system - a door can be opened till electric discharges stop.

In electromotive locks BORDER Electronics we use a protective system "Antishocker". In the case of an electric discharge appearance, the controller automatically blocks a lock in the closed position during the whole time of a shocker action.
